1. re-watching twin peaks. yes, yes, yes. i really don’t think the second season ever gets that bad if you just skip the stupid james and evelyn plotline. this is the second time i’ve tried it that way and it totally works.

2. i basically have evaporated into this todd haynes paper i am writing for class. this is both a good and a bad thing. i am worried that i’m taking on too much for one paper, but that’s what editing is for, i guess.

3. an excerpt of my novel is out in the new issue of unsaid magazine, which can be previewed online.

4. i guested on jim and patrick’s director’s club podcast episode re: gus van sant. they’re entertaining dudes so it’s worth a listen. i am apparently going to butt heads with them sometime in the future re: gregg araki. that should be fun and i will have a lot more to say that time around, i’m sure.
